Illinois State's Environmental Health program is one of only 23 accredited programs in the nation and the only program in Illinois.

More than 90 percent of graduates find jobs within six months of graduation.

Safety students that are involved in the Illinois State's American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) conducted research in uptown bars on the effects of noise on employees. Their research won first place at AIHA Chicago Section Student Night.

Honors & Awards

Adrian Lyde and Jeff Clark received a $92,000 grant from the Illinois State Board of Education to develop school-based HIV and sexually transmitted disease prevention education for adolescents.

Guang JIn received the Outstanding University Researcher Award for 2016.

Nineteen Health Sciences students made AFNI Honor Roll; become "Reggies."

Jackie Lanier publishes article in Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
